Ruston assigns QB Michael Penix Jr., RB Tyler Allgeire, DL Tyree Wilson, LB Micah Parsons, and DB Brian Branch to its five Roster Reserve slots.

Following the 2026 Supplemental Draft, BPFL GMs met to discuss a rule adjustment with the five Reserve slots on BPFL rosters and how to improve them for the 2026.  As such, the Reserve slot rule was changed to add more flexibility, beginning with this upcoming season.  Here is the rule change as updated in the Constitution:

"Beginning with the 2026 season, each team's use of the Reserve slots will be limited to 8 transactions (active to reserve swaps) in one season, done between weeks 1 and 13 of the schedule.   Players can be moved between an active roster spot and a reserve spot multiple times in the same season, however, when a player is assigned to a reserve slot they must stay there for at least 4 weeks before being eligible for activation again.  The 5 players each teams assigns to their reserve spots to begin the season are not initially subject to the 4 week time restraint, at least until they are activated and sent back to reserve later in that season."
